Wentworth Learning Childcare

Wentworth Learning Centre Childcare is a provincially licensed and regulated program with 70 students across three classrooms – ranging in age from 18 months to 12 years old.

In Winter 2026, we will officially be expanding our operations to include infant care!

What Our Programs Offer

Wentworth Learning Centre Childcare provides all children with a quality, safe, nurturing and affordable early childhood experience through a holistic approach, which embraces each child for who they are today and who they will become tomorrow. Our toddler and preschool programs offer full-day care, Monday through Friday (or on an attendance schedule of your family’s choosing). Meanwhile, our school-age program operates Monday to Friday, before and after school, as well as on in-service days, during March break and over summer vacation.

Program Fees

Additional subsidy is available for all of our childcare programs, which means qualifying families may pay as little as $0 per day for childcare!

Toddler/Preschool

As of June 1^st 2023, our toddler/preschool fee is now $10.00 per day, thanks to the provincial program fee reduction program. This price includes two snacks and a full lunch daily.

School-Age Program

Our current school-age program fee is dependent on the following enrollment options:

Before school care: $9.00/day

After school care: $11.50/day

Before and after school care: $14.00/day

In addition to these options, full day childcare is also available on in service days, snow days, March break, etc. for a fee of $17.00/day. The school-age program fee includes a morning and/or afternoon snack each day.

Enrollment

We do not currently offer part-time spots; however, full-time enrollment does not require full time participation. This means that although parents are required to pay for the entire month (based on the number of business days per month) in order to reserve their child’s spot, full time attendance is not mandatory.
